Miks WP Twenty Twenty theme?

Miks ma valisin veebi põhjaks Wordpressi ametliku teema 2020.

Maailmas on palju premium-kujundusi WordPressile. Maailmas on palju veebidisaini firmasid (fraktal näiteks, ja Velvet), kes oskavad ainulaadseid veebilehti kujundada. QQQ eelmine veeb oli Haiku Kaupo loodud. Ja nüüd siis selline tagasilangus?!

WP Twenty Twenty teema aluseks on Anders Noréni Chaplin. 2020 polnud mu esimene valik. Plaanisin sustainable webdesign ideest lähtuvalt kõige kergema WP theme’i töösse võtta. WP theme Susty, mille suurus on 6KB, mille kõik kellad ja viled on ära nuditud. Võid olla kindel, et su veebi kiiruse skoor on alati A või 100.

Our default theme for 2020 is designed to take full advantage of the flexibility of the block editor. Organizations and businesses have the ability to create dynamic landing pages with endless layouts using the group and column blocks. The centered content column and fine-tuned typography also makes it perfect for traditional blogs.

  • Restrict unnecessary elements. Understand every request your site is making and consider how useful they are. Do those flashing and distracting calls-to-action actually make a difference to the goals you have or are they simply annoying 99% of people that visit your site? Do you really need auto-playing videos?
  • Restrict third-party connections and scripts. Do you actually need Google fonts? Do you need the official social media share buttons? Do you need to collect all that behavioral data that you may never look at? There are better and lighter solutions for each of these.
